When we started working with this small to medium sized hotel in York, they didn’t imagine that they would become York’s number one hotel online for the main York search terms! Dare to dream and might happen! What a difference this has made to their online bookings. They are a York Independent hotel with just 54 bedrooms, parking, and swimming pool with a constant emphasis on their product and customer service which was a good fit for us.
When we started with this hotel, they were nowhere to be found, the only profile they had on Google was through PPC (Pay Per Click/Sponsored listings). You have to bear in mind the competitiveness of the word York, because having the word York in the title, means that it also competes with New York. This means we already had our work cut out from the start as you can imagine these words are extremely competitive, coupled with the fact that they are in the leisure industry which again in itself is a tough market to crack, obviously not for us!
